Overview

Dedicated to simple yet developmentally stimulating icons and experiences of childhood, this series encourages children to have fun discovering the world through the real world rather than through screen-based media. In praise of beloved blankets through the ages and their many uses, this book is an ode to their snuggly, cuddly, lost, found, oft-stinky glory. It is sure to inspire superheroes to save the day, tea party guests to enjoy their snacks, and lots of serene gazing out of the window.

Reviews

“I am so excited about these books. When you combine the bright colors and the simplistic drawings with the fun rhymes, you’ve got an engaging book that is perfect to read with infants and toddlers. This is the kind of book you can read while they wander around. Infants and toddlers love blankets, and this is a way to have some fun with them. If you’re child doesn’t have a favorite blanket before you read this, they will afterward!”  —Terry Doherty, Reading Tub Family Bookshelf

"I have recently reviewed books in the Baby Unplugged series to my delight! Blanket explores the bonding experience of the baby phase. It has simple pictures with natural scenes that peak an infant’s and toddler’s interest and useful word development patterns. It provides opposites schemes for preschoolers and simple, stylized wording for the early reader. The length is perfect for maintaining interest at all developmental levels."  —Dr. Joe Leanza, MD, MHS, FAAP, Springdale-Mason Pediatrics Associates
